First Saturday Coach Huddle (Live on YouTube)

A monthly mini-clinic for coaches who want more than clichés and hype.

On the first Saturday of every month, I host a live 25–30 minute training on YouTube for youth and high school coaches, followed by open Q&A. We dig into real issues from real teams—culture, mental toughness, confidence, parents, standards—and I show you practical tools you can use at your very next practice.

This isn’t theory for theory’s sake. It’s the same material I’ve used with teams from youth leagues to the pros, plus concepts pulled straight from my books like Coaching with Purpose, Team Building Activities for Athletes, and Talent Needs Character.

What You Can Expect

Each live huddle includes:

  • One core topic on youth sports, leadership, or the mental game

  • A ready-to-use tool or activity you can plug into practice that week

  • Stories from the field (and locker room) that make the lesson stick

  • Book/resource spotlight so you know where to go deeper

  • Live Q&A so you can get your specific questions answered

Total time:

25–30 minutes of teaching + optional Q&A afterward.

Show up with a notebook and one problem you want to solve with your team.

Who It’s For

  • Youth and high school coaches in any sport

  • Club directors and admins who lead coaches

  • Parents who want to better support their athletes

  • Anyone who cares about using sports to build character, not just stats
